Day 1 - Saturday
Arrive in Washington D.C. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. Enjoy a welcome reception in the hotel downstairs where you will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, meet other members of the group, and hear from our leaders, Abby Sexton, Bunni Pounds, and Ben Quine, on "How Do We Activate Our Passion for America.”
*Guests are responsible for transfer to hotel upon arrival.
Arrival Day
Day 2 - Sunday
PRAY: Museum of the Bible & David’s Tent
During breakfast, you will enjoy worship with Bethany Stephens and hear from Bunni Pounds and Ben Quine on "Our Mandate as Christians to Pray, Vote & Engage." Following breakfast, the group will move on to explore the wonders of the Museum of the Bible. At the conclusion of your visit of the Museum, Bunni will provide a discussion with Bethany Stephens on prayer and intercession for America. After a short break, we will enter into David's Tent on the National Mall for a time of worship and intercession together. After prayer and worship, we will enjoy a casual dinner followed by a private guided “Moonlight Monuments Tour" to the main historic monuments on the National Mall.
Day 3 - Monday
VOTE: Library of Congress & U.S. Capitol
During breakfast, you will enjoy worship with Bethany Stephens following with a talk on "How the Next Generation of Christians Can Keep Our Republic Strong" and “How to Interact on Capitol Hill” with special guests. Following breakfast, our day will begin with a visit to the National Archives. We will then enjoy a tour of the U.S. Capitol Building.
Located on the east end of the National Mall, the U.S.Capitol Building is home to the United States Congress and the seat of the legislative branch of the U.S. federal government. At the conclusion of your tour we will have private prayer meetings with several U.S. Congressmen and Senators and their staff members. In the evening, we will enjoy a private dinner together at a local restaurant with a member of Congress.
Day 4 - Tuesday
Engage: National Archives & The Holocaust Museum
During breakfast, you will enjoy worship with Bethany Stephens following with talks from specials guests on “Modern Media and Discerning the Truth”, “Pro-Life, Pro-Family, and Pro-Religious Liberty Advocacy”, and “Walking Beside the Jewish Community in Pro-Israel Activism”.
After breakfast, you will head to the National Archives for an unguided tour and a group lunch. After lunch we will head to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. At the conclusion of our visit, we will head to the U.S. Senate building for a special time with Bunni Pounds and U.S. Senators discussing "Leadership for America - Practical Steps & Ministry Opportunities".
Following our visit to the U.S. Senate building, there will be a Young Adults dinner to discuss the trip with your small groups. After dinner, there is an optional group trip to the White House!
Day 5 - Wednesday
Departure Day
Enjoy a leisurely morning prior to checking out of the hotel.
*Breakfast is on your own this morning.
Guests are responsible for transfer to airport for departure.
No official sightseeing arrangements are being made today, however additional sightseeing can be arranged.
